The Role

This is a key role within our global sales team and is reports the VP Sales Americas.

The job holder will be joining our New York sales office reporting to the VP Sales and working as part of our award winning sales team.  As an Account Development Executive you will manage a number of existing accounts across Latin America, primarily over the telephone and with some international travel.

Key responsibilities

  •  To achieve agreed sales targets as set by the VP Sales
  • To develop and manage relationships with accounts in order to better understand their business
  • To identify markets where greater sales penetration can be achieved and report on development opportunities for growth
  • To develop existing business by selling different opportunities for the aligned products
  • To carry out the planning and execution of sales and e-mail campaigns to maximise revenue generation
  • To keep abreast of market changes to enhance understanding
  • To provide accurate reporting and forecasting of sales
  • To attend conferences and exhibitions as required

 Skills and experience:

  • Proven B2B sales experience is essential, preferably into Latin America
  • Fluency in Spanish is essential and fluency is Portuguese is desirable
  • Experience of selling Business Information would be an advantage
  • Willingness to work independently, to be proactive and the ability to work under pressure
  • Extremely well organised and able to manage own time
  • Self-motivation and drive to achieve targets
  • Great persuasive and communication skills
  • Good level of IT literacy
  • Excellent presentation skills
