Title: Senior ASP.NET / C# Developer

Position Description: The Senior ASP.NET Developer will be involved with customer facing enterprise level web application development, integration with internal and external system, and performance tuning.   The candidate should have a solid understanding of enterprise development methodologies including; multi-tiered systems, source control, business analysis, technical feasibility, technical capacity planning, and enterprise systems integrations.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of playing a key role in enterprise software development projects and will be looked upon for mentoring and guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
Major Responsibilities:
·        Ability to transform business requirements and functional specifications into technical tasks and goals
·        Provide software architecture and data models
·        Enforce company software life cycle policies

           Assist in Change control and software release

            Work with team (internal and consultants) to code system

Required Skills:
·        8+ years of overall software development experience
·        5+ years ASP.NET with C# experience

·        5+ Transact SQL and MS SQL Server experience

           5+ years IIS setup (understanding of Load balancers, Firewall, DNS)

  • 2+ years high availability and performance tuning experience
    ·        Self-motivated with good time management skills
    ·        Leadership skills
    ·        Technical communication skills
    Plus Skills:
    ·        .NET Framework 4
    ·        Web application performance tuning
    ·        E-commerce experience

·        PHP – plus only

Educational Background Required:
·        A bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
